How your Soul Color and Guiding Color work together

Every soul is born from light.

However you refer to the source of creation — the Divine, God, the Universe, Spirit, or pure presence — I experience it as white light. And white light contains all color.

When your soul comes into being, it carries a unique expression of that light. Like a prism refracting white light into color, your soul carries its own original frequency.

This is your Soul Color.

Your Soul Color is not your favorite color, your aura color, or the color you happen to be drawn to during a certain season of life. It is the color of your soul’s essence. It reflects the deeper purpose, wisdom, and energetic quality your soul carries across lifetimes.

Your Soul Color lives in the soul field, beyond the everyday auric field. While the same color may also appear in your aura, it will carry a different meaning there. Aura colors can shift with emotion, energy, healing, and life experience. Your Soul Color does not.

It is part of your divine blueprint.

Your Guiding Color helps your Soul Color move through this lifetime

Alongside your Soul Color, I also read what I now call your Guiding Color.

In earlier versions of my work, I referred to this as the Life Path Color. Over time, Guiding Color became the clearer and more accurate name because this color acts like a guide for how your soul’s purpose wants to move through your human life.

Your Soul Color is the essence.

Your Guiding Color is the way that essence is expressed, practiced, embodied, and delivered.

I intuitively see the Guiding Color within the body or auric field. It is connected to this lifetime and helps reveal how you are meant to move through life, make decisions, use your gifts, and align with your higher self.

When your Soul Color and Guiding Color work together, there is a feeling of inner harmony. Life may not become magically perfect, because apparently Earth still insists on having plot twists, but there is usually more clarity, synchronicity, and a sense of being guided from within.

The original Soul Rainbow

Years ago, I began creating what I called Soul Rainbow images to show the relationship between a person’s Soul Color and Life Path Color, now Guiding Color.

These visuals helped people see how the two colors interacted. Each combination carried its own energy, rhythm, and message.

I no longer offer these exact Soul Rainbow images to clients, but they remain a beautiful visual teaching tool. They show something important: your colors are not random. They are relational. They work together.

One color reveals the deeper truth of your soul.

The other helps you live that truth as a human being.

Maintaining harmony between your Soul Color and Guiding Color

There are times when your Guiding Color may feel more dominant because you are focused on action, life direction, healing, work, relationships, or identity. There are also times when your Soul Color may feel stronger because you are being called back into your deeper essence.

Neither is wrong.

The practice is harmony.

When you focus only on your human path, you can forget the deeper soul wisdom guiding you. When you focus only on the soul level, you may struggle to bring your gifts into the physical world.

Your Soul Color reminds you who you are.

Your Guiding Color helps you become who you came here to be.

A simple way to work with these colors is to bring them into your life intentionally. You might wear your Soul Color in jewelry, place it somewhere sacred in your home, or use it during meditation. Your Guiding Color can be especially supportive in your wardrobe, workspace, creative environment, or anywhere you want to feel aligned with your direction and expression.

The key is not to overwhelm yourself with color.

It is to create resonance.
